Have you ever considered...

a Lotus. Was looking at a local paper and was reading about the latest supercharged EvoraS. Works out about the same new price as a Boxster. Did you ever consider a Lotus or would u every consider a new or 2nd hand in your future?
I know dealerships are few and far between. Would that stop u? Are these cars reliable? Is this a Porsche substitute or am I comparing apples to oranges? Your thoughts please?

Years ago really wanted one. Then spent some time with a friend who's girlfriend had one and they both talked me out of it.

Seems that she was selling the car because it was just not "user friendly" on most roads. It was so low that other drivers did not see the car and kept pulling into your lane. The trucks were the worst and they were afraid of being run off of the road or run over.

Love the car but would have to be really careful. Once you drive it its love at first sight... if you fit in the puppy!

Not only considered one. I own one!

The car turns in like I can never get my 911 to do. After the turn in it plants well and lets you get on the power early also

Bought it used (4K miles), and with the Toyota motor its been amazingly trouble free.

In all truth, the Boxter would probably make a better daily driver. The Lotus will get more attention.

They are both great cars!
Buy the one that excites you when you just look at it in your garage.

Sort of like a redhead. Great on a date. Impossible to stay with. I had a Lotus. Great car when it was on the road.
