Yep Both Maine Coons, very rare down here in Australia, and we have to keep answering that they're from the U.S.

Our vet nearly fell over when she saw them, she'd never seen a 33Lb cat that wasn't overweight.

I am quite impressed. Not so rare here in the States,, but they must be totally exotic in Australia.

Kinda like if I had a Koala bear in my back yard.

Funny you should say that we get the occasional Koala in our back yard.

Lots of snakes this time of year, which gives me an excuse not to mow it, as my wife doesn't like me out the back yard when the snakes are around.

Clazssic - Love the Maine Coons! They are the most amazing cats - darned things think they're part of the family. And they're right, they are. We're on our second, would have more if we could. But 33 pounds? That's a whole lot of cat!
