x10 Give an inch, they take a mile. Speeding cameras in school zones will be speeding cameras everywhere. Tolls on the highways just until the highway is paid for? Now they're a permanent fixture that's double twice in 10 years. Taxes and fees only go up, they are never ever temporary.

They always say the taxes are just until this or that, and then somehow the taxes never go away, they only go up to pay for their eccentricities, spending out of control, political drivers. That's why we need a smaller government that is easier to keep in check. The bigger the government, the less you have of your rights, the less you get to spend your own money, and the government just loves "redistributing" your "wealth". I'm a poor girl who hates what our country is turning into. We are indeed beginning to look like Greece, riots and all. If this President Obama and his cronies aren't socialists, I would like you to tell me who is. Seriously.

From reading the responses posted by the RESIDENTS of Illinois it does seem that one was making an accurate appraisal. So if you want pablum why don't you just skip on over to the Huffington Post or MSNBC, where they will be more than happy to give you a lethal dose of Pink Kool Aid.
