2007 C-class Sport, with some mods

(and no, it's not silver, but the gold-ish color called "pewter")

In my '87 911 with euro prefuffler & Dansk 1-in-2-out, the engine is my music.

In contrast, this car has the 12 speaker 320w Harman-Kardon Logic7 surround-sound stereo w. 6-disk CD, and the OEM "command" nav/radio/telephone/iPod interface I retrofitted.

I still wish I could have gotten it with one of M-B's excellent diesel engines, but that wasn't (and still isn't) possible in a US-spec C-class.

My daily driver for commuting is a BMW 128i with M-Sport Package.
My kid-hauling daily driver is a GMC Denali XL (no pics).
All the others are toys...

1986 Jeep CJ7 with 43k miles on it

1965 Chevy C20 stepside longbed (just started restoring it)

1985 Mercedes 190E 2.3-16 AMG (very rare; engine tweaked by AMG in 1985)

1971 Mercedes 300SEL 6.3 (co-owned with my best friend of 30 years)

1966 Mercedes 250SE Cabriolet (not owned by me, but adopted as sole caretaker):

And the newest to my FunBox, my 1969 911S Targa:

I had a 2003 Jeep TJ, but traded it on a 2012 JK Rubicon.

Pic of the new ride:

And of course with my "main" car:

Love it. I keep my eye out for 4.5 W108/9s. There was a 280sel that I almost got last year but I missed out. Beautiful car!

I like the volvo cross country for dd, it has been lowered, big braked, 5 speed manual swap, and tuned ecu and exhaust. switching rims around can't decide if I like the silver 18's or black 17's

Thought I would like this one more than I did since it has new everything, but it's still a 50 year old car with brand new parts that drives like a 50 year old car
