Under water cam corder anyone?

Who owns one? they are cheap, only 125 bucks. this thing is water proof up to 10'. I have never heard of Bell and Howell but need to take one on a three week trip with the kids in a few days so I m forced to buy one locally, tomorrow.

Not sure about the camera, but Bell and Howell have been around a long time.

Have you seen/checked out the new GoPro? You may consider uping the ante and spring for one. YMMV.

That looks good. And it sounds like a lot of fun.

We have a waterproof Kodak HD camcorder. The model number escapes me now, I am thinking ZX5? Either way, it was inexpensive and works well. We are very happy with the camcorder.

^ This. For the price you can't beat it and you can take it as far down as you wanna go.

I have a ciscio flip HD with a waterproof housing, fun and easy unless you have the sun at your back and aren't to deep it's fine, deeper needs extra lighting. I am surprised the sound works, don't know how but it's kinda cool

I know nothing about the GoPro. From the look of it, they look like a pain in the ass to use just to film the kids outside of mounting it onto something?

I have an Olympus TG-310 camera. I was very happy with pictures and video above and below water. Really seems like a lot of function for the price. Everything below was taken with the Olympus...

Underwater video starts around 3:30:

Still pics are here:

Picked up a fugi pix xp 50 for my beach vacation in punta cana. I got it at Costco for $100 and change and have been impressed. 14 mp, waterproof to 16 ft, takes 1080p video along with super slow motion

If you want to go really inexpensive and have an iphone, they make a waterproof case for it good to 10 feet. Available at your local Att store. Couldnt figure out how to post the vid clip of this, but it was taken with the iphone and case.
