Any interesting Porsche happenings in Detroit in the near future?
I'll be in town on business (rental car no Porsche
 ) from 16 - 26 July. Staying with the last of the living relatives on the East and North side near the coastline. Just wondering if there were any Porsche get togethers in that time frame?

By East/North are you referring to the Detroit area (St Claire Shores / Harrison) or "up North" (Oscoda / Alpena)?
The event calendars for both PCA regions are a little spotty for that timeframe. You'll have just missed the new Boxster intro at one of the local dealers (Thursday the 12th at Motor City Porsche). If you can swing it, the Rally Sport region (rsr.pca.org) is having a DE at Waterford Hills on Tuesday the 24th. Come out and watch for a bit if you'd like. I'll be there with the 968.

St Claire Shores / Harrison Township, or closer to Detroit than Port Heuron.
The 24th sounds like fun but I will not be out of work until after 1700 hours. Looks like yall will be wrapping up about then?

By 5pm we're generally wrapping things up and the bikers come in and take over the track; but a good sized contingent usually heads up the road to MR B's for refreshments and storytelling (Mr. B's Roadhouse)
