We can sue them for their part in our odyssey but in most cases, they are not causing the danger or the misery.

True enough, but I know two cases where the doc screwed up and in their arrogance refused to consider that they had made a mistake. The victims saw another doc. In both cases the mistakes were obvious once someone took the time to look. Making mistakes is human, to deny ever making mistakes in inexcusable.

Also, while between posts here, I got the thinking that the huge charges to the uninsured, if not paid, probably amount to an accounting benefit.
