I'm so sorry Varmint......Cowboy had a fantastic life and he knew he was loved. Those motorcycle rides alone kept a grin on his face!

Cherish all the good times.....and there were many.

Cowboy is running free and will be waiting for you at the gate.

Respectfully,
Baz and the girls

Yes really sorry 'Varmint', but now he's probably playing with my 'Pippa I' in dog's heaven.....

Sorry Varmit about Cowboy, 16 years I hope Cole gives me 16!

Your two Doxies are CUTE, Z! :)

Winkipop got a new mattress this morning!

I use outdoor furniture cushions - people are always tossing them out and most are still in great condition! The nylon fabric makes them extremely durable too.....

Joe Bob 05-11-2015 01:37 PM

Thanks....7 months old, new house and NO pee or poop accidents. Big back yard. I recommend a pair for every Porsche owner. Absolute clowns, also wrestling and then try to jump up into a waiting lap. Prolly end up around 12 pounds of energy, each.

Got another update on Bailey.......

Quote:

THANK YOU to all who donated to give Bailey a chance...Look what your help has already accomplished! & her foster mom says she's already a complete "Portland Dog."

Update on Bailey, our little Texas gal with Glaucoma AND Heartworm! She's on her third week in Portland and is fitting right in. Foster mom Amy Sutter posted a few photos of Bailey's adventures in the last week or so...She'll be starting HW treatment shortly, and once that's done, and her heart is declared sound, she will have her eyes removed. The vet says she has zero vision and she is receiving pain prevention treatment. And handsome Dundee is enjoying having a "young chick" to keep him company...the only other dog in his household the last couple of months has been "Little Old Lady" who basically eats and sleeps.

Once Bailey is done with all of her vetting, she'll be ready for a new home...about 6 months out...so please keep her in your thoughts as you hear folks discuss wanting a cattle dog. Bailey is about 6 years old and weighs roughly 25 lb....and it looks like she enjoys going for bike rides in a backpack!

On trails at Forest Park. Bailey uses foliage to feel where the trail is. She stays on trail and often gets far enough ahead of me that I have to tell her to slow down!

Dundee is her biggest obstacle (he stops on the trail in front of her).

Bailey fits & rides with mellow comfort in my bike pack!

Bailey's foster mom has to say "come out Bailey" otherwise she's perfectly content chilling in the bag.

These are smart little dogs.....even with no sight. My heart swells with pride at how many folks care about giving sweethearts like Bailey a chance at life....

I assume it was, Steve. Haven't seen any more requests for donations.

Feels good to help out. ;)

Thanks to you and all others here who gave - I'll continue to post Bailey updates as I get them.

Bugs - please give Sir Henry a head skritch from the girls....

Baz 05-16-2015 06:03 PM

Here's a post from one of my ACD facebook friends:

Quote:

If you are a "catless" home and would like to give two lovely, mature ACDs a loving home, here's your chance of a lifetime!:

Two sister 8 yr old Blue Heelers. We need to find these two a forever No Cat home ASAP! They are pets only and not working dogs. They are current on everything and have no health issues. They are not compatible with cats. They have not been raised around children so a adult home only. They have been together their entire lives so we would prefer to keep them together if at all possible. They are located in Western Oregon. They are well mannered and house broke. This pains us to do but due to our living situation we must find Ally & Ashes a forever family ASAP! Any questions email to: lopinslow429@gmail.com

https://scontent-atl.xx.fbcdn.net/hp...66&oe=55CC944F

Please spread the word....I can tell you my 2 blue girls are wonderful companions....very low maintenance and so smart they are a joy to have around. Thanks!

Cheers
