To be fair......she was only about 6 months old here. After about another 6 months I was able to get a new set of furniture without concern for all the gnawing....lol.....

Cool!! Yeah, his work is off the chart. The cattle dog belongs to his neighbor. We saw several we would love to have several different pieces of his if we could afford them. He was there yesterday finishing up his desert with quail picture he is doing for a client. Beautiful work but it is spendy. Kinda hard to take back in a plane unfortunately. The courthouse area is beautiful and I was surprised at the number of folks walking dogs. A very doggie friendly town with water bowls out every other store. I did score the vintage Nardoni Steering wheel find of the year at one of the antique shop.[emoji2]

Another piece of his. Not sure if I was suppose to take pictures since most galleries don’t allow it.

Does a hyena pic count? Taken at the zoo in Pheonix.

I think my younger dog might be part Hyena. They get ridiculously large, right?

Yeah, twice as wide and about 4” taller than my parents 75 lb Aussie.

The picture doesn’t do this female hyena justice but she was huge. She was also doing this odd growl type deal that made every hair stand on end. A very ominous feeling and sound. Their teeth were crazy viscous looking.

Hyenas are more closely related to cats than dogs... they cannot interbreed... I read...

Tobra 05-31-2019 11:40 PM

He thinks he can climb a tree to get a squirrel too, maybe he was some sort of genetic engineering experiment that escaped.

Got bit on the toe of my mountain bike shoe last night? Care to guess the breed?

Blue heeler.
He was the cutest little guy you could imagine and only about 8 weeks old.
I went full stop on the trail as he stormed up to me like a boss for a little nip.
I did say “hey don’t bite me” and the owner was very apologetic. It was quite funny but also important for the owner to know that he did bite.
I told him that I had a border collie and we chatted about dogs for a few minutes.
No harm no foul but a fun story and a cute little puppy.

At 8 weeks old, humans are their favorite chew toy! Furniture is a close second. That’s why god made babies and puppies cute so we wouldn’t get rid of them right away!

My little Ricky is 13 weeks old, and I am still his favorite chew toy...

He was given a sacrificial pair of old leather shoes in hopes that he wouldn't eat furniture, and it seems to have worked for the most part - we just can't let him get near any non-sacrificial shoes or they become part of his toy collection.

My two have an agreement with the local warren...when one chases a rabbit into the bushes, they all stop and high-five each other. It's just for show to impress us. :)
