I had one young Shih Tzu boy (Oscar, the darker one) that wasn't liked by the older males, so a breeder recommended a standard poodle. So Zora got added to the herd, and she's been awesome. Full of joy, not demanding of anything (except some occasional attention), and very sweet and gentle. Zora's 4 yrs old now and these little ones are 7 yrs old. They have some good fun together.

Dog Dies After 3 Hours in Parked Car with Air Conditioner Running

Adorable!!!!!! Talk about a pocket pup.

I keep waiting for the day I get home to find either a schnauzer pup or an Aussie/Cattle Dog pup. I showed the wifey Pickles and then thought..... now Pickle’s is in the running.

Speaking of mini Australians, archer turned six months yesterday. He weighs all of 32lbs. We think that’s behind the growth curve. Does anyone know?

Rutt-Rrow!!!
The wife is starting to send me videos like this....... can you say, puppy breath and little teeth going, “nomnomnomnomnim” might be in the future?!?!? Only time will tell. She does love those little schnauzers and I find it funny that when she send these to me, she includes possible names.[emoji848]

When I ask her, “So, when are you getting one?” It’s all about denying the possibility.
Rrrrrrriiiiigggghhhhttttt.......

The wee baby jumped out of my wife’s car doing 30 and shattered his femur. He’s doped up right now. Surgery in anchorage tomorrow morning. In case you’re wondering estimates start at $4000.

Poor little guy...... with those ears, I would have figured there would have been more lift than drag, thus lifting him aloft.[emoji6]

Keep us updated and nothing it well wishes to a non eventful-routine surgery. Give him some ear scratches from all of us.

Two rods in his leg.
About thirty stapes holding him together.
rymadyl, gabapentin, trazadone and something else I’m forgetting.
Just under five thousand dollars.
Two months enforced bed rest. We’re sleeping in bags on the floor next to him to make sure he doesn’t get up. Going to have to buy a crate.

If the rods don’t hold the next step is amputation.

Total **** show.

RIP, Angel.

Angel shared lots of love with us over the last 12 years, She rescued us after a previous dog passed. We think she was probably 14-15yo. She wasn't feeling well yesterday and passed early this morning.

Angel ready to go to the dog park.

Angel was 35#, but liked to crawl into her brother's (12#) kennel. It was always amazing how tiny a ball she could curl herself into.
