These pups love to play ball. What is cool is they'll run maybe 30-40 feet turn around and catch the ball. I throw it before they make their cut. Going to try to make a vid of us playing ball.

One of the big things that has come out of this past storm, is all the pets in temporary shelters, that they are trying to reunite with their owners.

We found a number of pets in houses we searched. I cant even begin to comprehend, and it makes me rage that someone would abandon their pet like that. To just leave them in a house that might potentially be destroyed or washed away.

It is unthinkable.

Thanks Baz. Yeah those tongues are from tuckered pups! Colbi, (the gray hound), is like a wide receiver while Maxx is more of a tight end.

Yeah I agree Vinny.

Just now on CNN's Anderson Cooper 360 - there was a segment about a group going door to door in Staten Island looking for pets left behind. It was mostly cats featured. They were picking them up for transport to a safe haven, as well as distributing pet food to area residents. A rapper named Hush was involved not only with the on ground team but also with donated food.

Hug your little 4-legged children tonight folks.....give 'em that love while you can....

I had people come up to me at our base of operations asking if i searched # so and so street. Because they left their dog there. It took alot of restraint to hold back from going off on them.

He is doing well, and he seems so content, but his feet are badly burnt, and i have to keep him off them, which is meaning constant care, hopefully all goes well, and he continues to improve."
