I will echo the statement that this is the hardest thing to do.

Knowing that it's the greatest act of love for your baby though helps ease the pain. That's what one has to focus on.

This is Reese, our long hair Dachshund, trying to relax. :rolleyes:

She has it figured out. That is Reuben, the male short hair dachshund. My wife almost get to have room in her chair with two little dogs up there with her.

Our sweet dog, Tilly, died a couple of months ago. She was an English Shepherd and lived to be 12. While she is sorely missed, we decided to get another puppy.
