Rexy's owners had a baby. that meant she couldn't be the baby anymore. and she is acting all *****y about it.
so i've been called. gonna take cowboy up to meet her next week. if they get along she'll be coming home with us. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1355178464.jpg |
Is that Cowboy or Rexy?
Big storm here tonight - huge lightning strike just outside the house - power went out and doggies bolted to the bathroom with Winkipop hiding under the sink and Billabong sitting on the bath mat right next to her. All systems back to normal now. Our city utilities crew are awesome - the bucket truck was here in less than 1/2 hour and power restored shortly afterwards. I never even call 'em - they just show up. :) |
I'm teleworking today. I look out the window and I see this. The ONE opportunity my cattle dog would have to test out his skills and he's asleep in the crate because the dogs were bugging me by wrestling.

I was at the trainer today with Lex and he said cattle dogs are the only breed they train at 12 weeks. He said that at 6 weeks, they take them a 1/2 mile from home and the ones that find their way back are the ones they train for cattle work. I have no idea if it's true or not. |
Don't know how much exposure these dogs are getting overseas but its a brilliant idea. They've been on the kiwi talkshows the last few weeks.
