I got Mia when she was just over a year old. The breeder sent me a picture of her as a pup.

Dog folks, need some advice. We have 2 rescue cats that we believe have some Maine Coon in them. One is 18 pounds the other around 16. What pups would be good with cats? I am guessing the answer may be that it depends on the cats, but any insight would help. Been looking at Corgi rescues.

If you google dogs and cats, the recommendation will come up for Goldens, Labs, and (oddly) Cavalier King Charles. Corgi hit and miss. If it's a rescue, you probably get an opportunity to see how it works out.

One of the house cats, I named Frank (Frankie Goes to Hollywood) because he is so relaxed. The other is an imp, seriously involved in all aspects of everyone's lives...even Perry the old (15) Jack. Perry decided to ride along this afternoon with the Big D running with us: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1749245657.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1749245657.jpg |

If I'm dishing up dog food and Mia's in the back yard, she checks in and watches me a few times, sometimes yips. The other day I took a big dollop of canned food on a fork and pretended to take bites from it while she was watching. She was working her jaw as if she had some in her mouth, chewing on a bite. |
It's winter time here so I got the Mutthounds new jackets. I think they are very proud of them LOL
