I just made a couple of photo mugs with mpix.com again, who does really nice work. One for the breeders in Sacramento, and another one for myself. I ordered an extra one of mine for them, as I know they really adore my dog. They've got 25% off through tomorrow, so the mugs net out at $15 ea.

I recently found out we adopted a "coonoodle". 77% Poodle, 23% Walker coon hound. A shelter where my daughter lives was advertising the pups on facebook and we really liked them so we adopted "Porter" (I like dark beer). If we would have waited until we knew his personality I would have named him Bob...because he's a barker... :D

That's a very cool looking poodle mix! I like the straighter hair. My standard is going to be 11 this month. She's a very gentle soul.

He's a funny mix that's for sure. Porter is all puppy! Loaded with energy and tries to get into everything. He's 8 months old and has some bad habits we're working on but he's a smart pup so I think he'll learn pretty quickly.

I am heartbroken as my standard poodle Zora moved on due to cancer. She would have been 11 years old this month, and she was a very kind and gentle soul. Very good with my little dogs, one of which adored her. Never sick, swallowed a small rock when very young, which I had to have removed. Turns out, the anesthesia allowed what turned out to be a very smooth stone to pass into her colon, so the surgery was unknowingly unnecessary. I still have the stone. The day I got her:
