This will be our first holiday without our rescues.
Luke our bagel as our sun called him and Jackie our blind lab. She loved shoes. I guess as a girl I am not surprised. She once ran full on into our retaining wall and bent her nose something fierce and I was sure we were headed to the vet ER. She sneezed a few times and it came out straight and she went back to playing with the ball. I had thought sure she had broken it.

I'll help you Paul,
Our 4yr old Karst Shepherd from Slovenia called Princ, they were bred for guarding livestock and quite rare, the numbers dwindled to below a 1000 around 2008   He's a great dog, very protective, fantastic family pet but can be a handful at times as he has taken a dislike to a few dogs we meet on our walks so can be aggressive Most of the dogs he doesn't like kicked off at him when he was a puppy and puppies never forget who was friendly when they were little Also loves going for drives in my truck

Dottie and the Egret today. I start moving soil tomorrow afternoon to fill in the wall. Some smaller rocks...everything has to settle first.  She and the Egret decided, after Dottie waded out, to agree to disagree.
