G'day!

So sorry for your loss, Billy. Feels like ALL of us here lost a family member. Thank you for sharing all the wonderful pics & updates of beautiful Pepper and yourself through the years.

Thanks Baz and all for the condolences. She truly was a special dog,
The day after she had passed, I was walking back to where I had parked the truck and could see an older lady walking a large dog about a full city block ahead of me. For whatever reason that dog went full stop and waited for me to catch up. Maybe Peps told him to check on me for her.... Another small coincidence. I checked my watch when she left us and saw that it was 7:35pm. 7+3+5 = 15 years. She turned 15 that day. We are potentially looking at a border collie rescue that is the same age as our Russ.

I hope you get the rescue. Little Russ would probably appreciate it and Peps probably would've wanted you to do it.

What a cutie pie. You have it backwards, you need a puppy to keep you young!

She is a real handful. I live on 5 acres and my last girl never needed a leash. This one has wandered off a couple of times. I purchased a training collar and it has transformed her. Now when I call her she either comes or lays down. It’s on vibrate and catches her attention very quickly.

Her name is Luna. My last girl crushed me when she died. This one is finally stealing my heart.

What a wonderful time of the year. The weeds with burrs are in full bloom.
The dopey hound dog is out back, hunting for rabbits or squirrels or possums or whatever else might be out, and of course it is raining. She came back in just covered in burrs and soaking wet. I think the wife and I spent a good 45 minutes trying to get all the burrs out. |

Mia gets a kick out of water being sprayed at her. I was aiming the water, but not the phone so much. Anyway...

I just wanted to share my experience. My dog has become more than just a companion, and last year I turned to Wellness Wag for an ESA letter. The whole process was simple and quick, and now I have peace of mind knowing my documents are in order for housing and travel.

Today would have been Bodhi's 21st birthday. He lived to the ripe old age of 18 and he was awesome. I remember seeing him for the first time weeks before I bought him for my ex at 8 weeks of age. Big thick coat that bounced when he walked. He was an old soul. If I could have named him after getting to know his personality, I would have named him Walter. My ex named him Bodhi from Buddhism. I got him back after her older dog didn't like him- super lucky! After his first haircut:
