This happened to our Boser. We immediately thought he had a stroke and the vet said he could see that on our faces. He said its basically like doggie-vertigo and that he would eventually recover but it was literally weeks before he was able to walk "normally" again but he retained a head tilt and seemed to favor turning one direction more than the other after that. Poor old guy was already deaf and blind so I can't imagine how he felt.
