NICE pics guys.....

I met "Cocoa" today - my friend's 3 y/o dobbie. What a sweetie....licked my face off almost. They are such lovey dubbies.....I'll see if I can get a pic tomorrow for ya. She's beautiful.

In the meantime another of "Winks" and "Bills" in the empty lot behind the house October '06 - approx. 2 weeks after we were adopted by "Bills"....

It's a stuffed dog but sends a message to those who are clueless....whether they listen or not is another story. This time of year too many dogs die from heat stroke when left inside vehicles. Please spread the word!!!

I always bring a couple/three crunchy dog treats with me when I come to her home (I'm doing a landscape job there) - she's such a good girl....I love Dobbies and Rotties...they're all just big kids really.

Here's one I asked a friend to do of my Mom's boxer for a Mother's Day gift. I would love to find someone else who does this kind of thing on the side. These portraits make great gifts.

Thanks, I did that myself. I was working on three paintings simultaneously, and at the end of every night I'd take the left over paint off the palete and spread it on a spare canvas I had around the studio. at the end of the week il looked like that...There's alot of paint on that canvas. Some are is over 1/2" thick.

I think it's great. Do you think it's worth it to try to sell paintings like that? I'd buy one. Thanks for sharing.

not sure...If I was to buy the art materials for this painting including the canvas I'd have $200 in materials alone.... Not sure enough people would be willing to pay to justity the time

Here are our Labs, Layla and Molly, who have become our surrogate children since both of our boys have moved on to college.



Layla is still hyper even at six and as anyone who owns a Lab can contest, they love the water. Layla is no exception but she does have one quirk; she despises damp grass.....Layla will walk fifty yards on a sidewalk or road to avoid walking five feet in wet grass.


Molly is slowing down a little but she's in better shape than most dogs half her age. Here she is taking a little siesta after a long day on the lake with the family.
