It's nice. It always seemed 20 degrees hotter coming from Thousand Oaks, though. The beach is close by. Although where I went was usually Meiners Oaks. Nice mountains but I like the Santa Monicas around Malibu a lot. Are there roads up the mountains in Ojai or just trails?
I like SLO a lot too. Driving from TO to SLO it seems like anything on the coast from Malibu north is great.

Didn't the Six Million Dollar Man live there (in the show, not in real life)?

Great riding in Ojai. A good loop is up thru Ojai up around Pine Mountain and back into Ojai. I highly recommend it next time you ride to the LA area.

It's been 20+ years since I was in Ojai. I need to swing by the next time I am in Santa Barbara.

There are a couple of local spiritual/hippy TV stations in Ojai that are quite interesting/hilarious - paricularly late at night. I've not seen anything like this elsewhere.

Yes Brothers and Sisters was set in Ojai as well, but we mostly shot of Stages 6 & 7 on the Disney lot. If you ever saw their company trucks they had the company name on them, but if you looked closely you might see the underbelly storage boxes, which gave them away as Grip, Wardrobe and Camera trucks for the show.
