I'm just glad I'm an er and not an ee. I am much more comfortable facing the vagaries of the economy, markets, and my own decision making than I ever was when my future was in the hands of an employer.

I do chuckle at management around here. Several people quit on the spot over the past year and one of the biggest complaints is there is little/incorrect information received from management (and it's completely true) so what's their solution? They sent out a list of ways to better communicate.
"So you have a problem with management and the way they communicate..here's a list of things you can do to try and fix that"
