Question for the musicians on here.

If you were given the opportunity to meet and hang with , talk and play, with one famous musician, who would you pick?

Mine would be Herb Alpert.
Hes always been one of my idols. Was my inspiration for picking up the trumpet. Plus hes just a real cool, down to earth guy. Does a lot of charitable work too.

Really? I thought he failed miserably as a musician and ended up in Tijuana driving a taxi.

Alive or can we bring em back from the dead. If the later I pick Mozart or Beethoven.

Still living, tough one.

Alex Lifeson seems like a fun guy to hang out with. Plus, he could show me how to play the intro to Spirit of Radio...

Jeremy - watched LSOE last night. Great seeing BHTM on TV! I didn't know Todd relocated to Chicago. Didn't see that coming...

I saw BHTM last night also. Jeremy got lots of camera time and played some tasty licks. Probably will re-air on AXS.tv.

BTW, hanging out with your fav musician likely wouldn't turn out the way you'd expect.

As long as we're dreaming

Miles Davis and if I could pick the time... Early 70s. A genius of our time.

Chuck Leavell, not the most well known but he has played with some giants. I bet he could tell some stories.

Can you pick one from your lists?

If I had to pick from yours it would be Ray Charles.

Wynton Marsalis... only because he seems very well educated and articulate.

I play but don't qualify as a musician, but I'd like to hang with Paul McCartney for a while.
