Apple knows they can't win but that's not the point.

The point is to get an injunction to delay the product long enough for Apple to launch it's next product that will be more competitive.

Apple obviously has decent market share but it has also flattened out. For Apple it's all about hamstringing Android as much as possible now.

Wife's contract is up in December (LG smart-phone)... we will most likely switch to the Galaxy II or III, and Fry's has the 10" Galaxy tablet for under $300, I'm thinking for Christmas.

I wonder if Apple is thinking about how much advertising for Samsung this is bringing?
