Yep, You could make a case that there are polar bears in Ontario, but unless you live in Moosonee I don't think you have to worry about them. It's a huge province.

I know about the Massasauga Rattlesnake, it's never been in this area, in fact throughout the 60's-80's it was thought to be pretty well extinct along the Bruce Peninsula. That's not where the general population of Ontario lives.
Any BW that makes it up here will not make it through a winter.

Really it's not enough to worry about.

Southern AB and Sourthern Sask. has rattlesnakes also

As to spiders:

"Although most spiders inject venom into their prey, few are harmful to humans. Ontario is home to the very poisonous black widow spider. The more commonly seen yellow sac spider is far less venomous, and brown recluse spiders, not indigenous to Ontario, may only be spotted on extremely rare occasions. "

They got rattlers in some high parts of Kelowna B.C.

Bark scorpions are very easy to spot with a black light. You can see them from 20' away in my back yard. One hit with a blow torch takes care of them.

When I lived in CA one of my bosses had one of those for a pet. He had it in his office on a shelf. Our office manager would check the cage first thing every morning until it died.
