Guitar Lessons - Los Angeles

I just moved to the westside, near Ladera Heights. Can anybody recommend a guitar teacher in the area? I'm very much a beginner, but would like a top notch instructor rather than just anybody that can play.

Thanks.

Surly there are instructors there. But My buddy Allan Thomas has been teaching for years and is now available online, with video streaming live he has been working with students from afar with good results. You can Google him to discuss the details. He is a singer song writer with many CDs recorded. His Black Bamboo label has his music to be heard online. Check him out!

Cheers Richard

I gig regularly with Kurt and he teaches (even on only 6 strings ). Nice guy and you'll learn a lot.

I've never even heard of a nine string guitar! Six and twelve... never nine!

Yeah, but it mostly sounds like a 6-string...depends on the tune. This is us last Sunday:
