Stainless Welders in SoCal?

A question to the Pelican brain trust. Anyone here that can, or knows a good Stainless steel welder? I'm looking to get a small bit of cutting and fabrication done. Hopefully no parts added...

I have an extra "T" pipe that I would like to run between the top balance tubes between both mufflers. I need this "T" pipe welded to and joining the original "T" pipe in a clean fashion. Some cutting and welding, no custom bends or fabrication needed (I hope).

Is there anyone in the Orange County area who can accommodate inexpensively? I can disassemble the exhaust but I would prefer to take the whole car and only pull off parts as needed to maintain alignment.

Anyone know someone who can do this affordably?

Thanks!

I just started welding SS after an on and off affair with welding over 40 years. The last 7 years has seen me in the local community college program on Saturdays for 4 years out of the 7. TIG welding SS is the hardest thing I have done so far.

Don't be in such a hurry to be cheap. You can over cook SS real easy and it gets super brittle (or just plain weak). Not something you want with exhaust.

After messing up a few pieces, I emailed Ben (mb911) from M&K Mufflers to tell him how I appreciated his superb craftsmanship even more than I did before. Ben and I go back to his first year in business.

Anyway, Burns Stainless is in Costa Mesa. They must know of someone.

*Bump*

Burns Stainless in Costa Mesa? Are they a distributor of Stainless or a fabrication shop?
