Selling my Kirkham
It's with great sadness that I listed my 289 FIA for sale on ebay yesterday. I needed a good spirited drive to take my mind off of it, but the 930 is in for service. Here is the listing:
Sigh...perhaps an 911 RSR build will take my mind off of it once it's gone!

One of the best AC's available.
Why only 500 miles? Makes a person wonder why you didn't drive it. I let my AC go two years ago for 26K. It was a pristine, glass Butler. However, I did put 20K miles on it and owned it for 20 yrs. Good luck. |

Hate to see you sell such a great car, especially the engine compartment....well done!
Ever since David Kirkham was on the cover of Autoweek, I dreamed of owning one of their cars, but I ended up with a CSX car. Good luck with the sell.

It was only registered last May and I drove it every weekend when it wasn't raining. It is scarey fast, handles like it's on rails, and loud. The perfect weekend cruiser!

Yes, a beautiful car.
What would it take to put a clear finish on it? Is that even possible?

I agree...that aluminum body is gorgeous! Sorry to see her go but good luck with the sale. Hopefully she will go to a home where she is cherished!

Sorry to hear about the sell. Car is a smoking deal and already had the shake down fixes. Kirkhams IMHO look the best with a brushed finish with polished stripes. The polish is way to much for my taste and the up keep is ridiculous. Painted is great but why hide all the pretty metal your paying for, lol! Next go around Ill have a Kirkham ... now Ill just settle for my BDR. GLWTS!!
