anyone using a Hein Werner floor jack?

i bought an AMERICAN FORGE AND FOUNDRY jack..dumbass me..despite the "in yo face" american name of the damn jack..it is made in china.

once bitten twice shy. my chinese jack cant has no trouble on the 911, but is woefully underpower on my truck.

found a 3-ton HW jack in sacramento..any good? they claim USA made.

I have a vintage HW O' Boy that has served well since the early 60s when my Dad bought it. It is a little tired & deserves a rebuild soon.

I have had a old HW jack and it a very good piece.

I also have one of the AC jacks and it is the cats pajamas. It was under a foot of water due to the hurricane, I guess that will tell if it really is that good.

You can overhaul them. Just had mine overhauled (actually did three floor jacks at one time) for about $40 each, or at least thats what it cost here in Phoenix.

i dont like that wheel thing on the AC jacks. that rubber o-ring around the wheels. it seems to always come off on me. the jack is the bomb-diggity. (once your figure out the hair trigger).
