Thanks for the replies, finger polish wouldn't be the shade I'd go for, it doesn't go with my eyes
I didn't know there could be Lynx's about. I'm sure its not a cougar but I bet the nearby town has a few prowling around on a Sat. night  As from the replies its not clear cut that it is dog or wolf I've sent the photo to these guys to see what they think SloWolf and will post up any reply I get. It seems Slovenia does have a population of wolves but they are located in the south on the Croatian border, maybe one got lost or wanted to visit Austria.

That looks like a big cat of some type. The centre pad looks like the right shape but the claws... They look too wide to be from a cat.

There have been two documentary's showing how wildlife is booming in the abandoned area... wolfs being part of that wildlife.
