Guitar for a 9year old?

This was posted on the Gear Page forum today, and since it involved giving guitars (Ibanez Mikro) to kids, I thought I'd share.

My son had three of 4 sets of pickups he used. No idea what is in it now. He tore that thing apart so many times it was the master test mule. there were times I never thought he could get it back together. These are all relegated to his old room here.
