Point of history..........

Percussion caps in the 1600s? Maybe it's just me, but that doesn't sound right. I'm guessing that it was originally designed to use a burning fuse for ignition. All that aside, still a pretty neat video! |

3 barrel pole gun.......Mystery solved
This firearm is from the ming dynasty era. This is the first gun that consited of three barrels and uses black powder. as you can see from the picture below this gun consits of for cast iorn barrles connected to a long wooden pole. Ming dynasty
1368 - 1648. A wee bit before percussion caps were invented! I'm not sure that I would want to shoot a 600 - 650 year old firearm!

BSiple, I would love one of those but my wallet isn't that thick. I do use a P90 for airsoft. Great in the thick stuff and buildings. Easy to stay stable, though airsoft has no recoil.

If you don't want to go on the NFA list then I would recommend an NFA trust. Do it soon though because the ATF is looking to re-write to rules. I have one and it's the best. If I die my kids (listed on trust) don't have to apply and pay $200 per item to retain ownership. The trust owns all of them.

Brent,
I actually picked it up for under a grand brand new.... The Five-Seven pistol cost more. My daughter is ten and has fired it, there is almost no felt recoil, its pretty fun to shoot. Bill |
Bill, it all depends when you got one. During the craziness I saw some on Gunbroker going for over $2K. Before and after, not so much. They are a sweet handspoon for sure.

Boba, I agree. I know a FN dealer through work connections, and was able to get what I felt was fair pricing for both of them....

The transfer aspect is the biggest benefit by far and alone seems more than adequate reason to go the trust route. |
I was under the impression that the new rules would change even the existing trusts going forward.

Word on the street is it takes 9 months to get approved (for the trust). But perhaps that is not so.
Jim |
9 months seems to be the standard.. .except, with a trust you can e - file and I've heard that can be as short as 90 days
