I don't think NFA guns are even on the table and weren't part of the last AWB.

I would cheer if they just admitted the whole show is totally scripted and stop claiming it has anything to do with reality. They make their money off mechandising like Chumlee t-shirts and appearances they make at other shops and bars to sign autographs. I am not exaggerating when I say my local Goodwill has better, more valuable and more interesting stuff than that pawn shop. Gawd, it's the worst store I've ever been in.

IIRC, there has never been a documented case of a crime committed with a legally-owned machine gun. So it's gonna be tough to make the case that NFA guns, the newest one of which is over 25 yrs. old and many of which are precious historical relics, need further restrictions or an outright ban. The cheapest one you can buy is around $4k and takes about six mos. of waiting and paperwork - not your typical gang banger tool or even gun nut's weapon of choice.

i think the original elevator pitch must have been something like...

"it's antique roadshow with more douchebags."
