I believe that that only applies to bursts from belt feds.

When used with a 20-35 round mag, the use of "Get Some!" requires a full mag dump

:D

I was only loading 30 rds into a mag before I realized they take 36. But damn, I was tired of loading those mags. And my right thumb was beat to hell. When I finally get that MG-42, I'm going to have to buy the hand crank tool for loading the belts.

If you want your buddies to shoot it, make them load their mags.

If you want to shoot it just a little, take a loaded mag to range and reload at range, get one of the basic tools that gives a nice big flat to push down on and provides a mechanical thumb.

If you want to shoot it a lot, load up 15-20 mags over the course of a week one or two per night while drinking a beer. Show up to range, 15+ loaded, no waiting to load etc just rock-n-roll as you will.

Son and I got out with the shorty 22 again.... giggle inducing.

Loading magazines while drinking may not be the best idea... Just sayin

My permit arrived.. Brand new Dan Wesson, it was in the store since 2010 something.
I had bought its brother, sold its brother, and now it was still there at the old price.

Rugers or S&W 1911 was higher price than this DW which really is a better 1911 in all respects.. Go Figure, folks in Belgium have no idea apparantly how good DW 1911's are
Good for me :D

Like its brother out of the box its so tight it barely cycles.
took it a part a few times.. lubed it up with FP10 and took it to the range.. And its starting to loosen up a bit

Meet Blammus Dannus Wessius.. Blammo for Friends :

Very happy, love the feel of a 1911 , the schlack as the slide closes ..
Trigger is great, Shoots great feels great.. I am whole a gain :D

Congrats, Stijn! Beautiful example of the 1911.

Nothing fancy, but I’ve been wanting one of these for quite a while. It’s a browning, model 12 copy in 28 guage. I have model 12’s in 20,16, and 12 guage, along with a model 42 in 410. But never came across one in 28 guage, and if I did I wouldn’t pay the price for a original.

So this one’s a shooter, I’ve done pretty well with it in sporting clay, sub guage, fun shoots.

Dan Wesson is the best bang for the buck 1911 on the market. They're probably a lot more expensive in Europe and they used to be a lot cheaper in the US than they are now. I so miss my Valor and am kicking myself for the trade I made with it.
