Nice looking bike, just a bit big for most of us. Someone did a nice job on it!

I bought my husband a bike and yes, I paid for it with my own money. :p

A full-suspension, disc brake Jamis 29'er! Watching him ride it around makes me think that a 29er is the only thing he should have ever been on!

I have a Brand new pantograph Campy Super Record ring just like that but will never go on my Colnago. I like to sell but never got the courage to put it on CL or ebay. I don't do that type of selling very well.

Joe Bob 01-26-2013 06:44 PM

At least post a pic....

Hey John, you really want that thing?

As with all my bike stuff, they are in bins under my parent's home. I know what I have there because I never sell anything through CL or anything place like that due to my part for being a lazy person and do not want to deal with the BS. let me know if you are serious about it.

Mike Z, I will go and dig it out for you and get you a pic. Hey, I am shipping your flash light chargers Monday. Those I have in my garage in a box. Hope they will work for you.

What do posts like that sell for? I have a non pentograph 25mm Super Record post sitting around that I will never use. Thinking of selling it off to someone that can use it. It fits Look carbon frame of a certain era. I think some other French frames also. I wouldn't know what to ask for?

Joe Bob 01-26-2013 08:55 PM

Odd size....unless it has engraving, pantograph or other attributes like being able to take a high polish....50-90 bucks.

Here's a current search string on FleaBay.

Levels of Campy....

Xeon, Mirage, Veloce, Centaur, Chorus, Record

One like this
Campagnolo Super Record Seatpost 27 2 Fluted with Box Road or Track Classic | eBay

25mm.

I raced back then, so all we bought was Super Record when my pocket book allowed. If not, then it was NR. When the new index stuff come our from Campy, I had to have it but, they didn't work and had issues with it, so switch to DuraAce and never looked back.

Joe Bob 01-26-2013 10:46 PM

Yeah, Campy stepped on it when they rushed to market their flawed index shifting system. As mentioned in prior posts my Somec came with that early junk....errrr.....flawed classic shift system. The down tube mounted shifters sucked Donkey Balls....It had DuraAce brake lever shifters until recently when I swapped in later working Chorus.

Swapping ride time between the D Ace and the Campy bike was a PITA....they shifted bassackwards...now they shift the same and I don't have to retrain my brain....

As to selling your 25mm post....put it up for auction. See what it brings. Not like you have anything that it fits, right?
