^^^Sx1000?
Hitting the cloud line at Wintergreen. RV coming down adjacent mountain for perspective. 50 degrees and pouring rain several minutes later. :) Can't believe it's time to start thinking about winter gear again. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1694363207.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1694363150.JPG |

ok... ok.. I had an sx100, not a 1000! :) My memory is a decimal point off. Interesting on the stingray

OK- more pics from this weekend. I bought a sexy Velo Orange rack, levers, and bars for the Nishiki, but realized a pizza rack fit it better( I do need a pizza bike btw- the Nishiki will do fine :)), dropped on the VO bars, levers, kept pizza rack, and here the final glamour shot:
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1695081154.JPG -Leaving me needing another bike to put the VO rack on. Hmmmmm....The only thing laying around was my 2003 fondreist, unused, mounted in a basement trainer. Several hours later...Total heresy. F*** all the bike genres. This eff'r hauls ass faster than the SR71 Blackbird, even with the upright conversion. :D http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1695081355.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1695081355.JPG |

edit- a bike group just dubbed my Fondriest the "reverse mullet" - party in the front, roadie in the back. THIS, the "Reverse Mullet" is the bike I will take to Hilton Head in 2024 (assuming there is a 2024 :) ) |
With a square taper srm nonetheless. You're a baller.

The smoothing on the SRM is also night and day above my Garmin power readouts. If my eyesight wasn't going south for the small SRM screen readout, I'd take the SRM all day long. :) |

Hairnets.. good times.

^^^ I've actually been thinking about getting one. I occasionally ride without a helmet  Yeah, I know: "are you out of your freekin idiot mind!". These are generally on short 'zone 2' training rides on nearly deserted roads when the humidity and temps are in the 90s. It's much cooler, I enjoy it and that's that.
