So my Deltas arrived....

Need three components, the top adjuster, the bellows and the piece underneath the bellows.

So I'm flipping thru an issue of Hemmings and of course always the big Coker Tire ad is in your face... anyhow I noticed they make or import bicycles with 36" wheels! Funky beach bike things. For kicks I checked them out online and then found someones idea of a 36 incher yike bike.

Anyone know if the later years Kestrel road bikes are worth having? My only experience with Kestrel is many years ago with a CSX hardtail mt. bike. I had good luck with it, chipped it up a bit but took the punishment. It was later stolen. So now by chance I found a Talon road bike seemingly mid-grade equipped and fairly priced. I'm unable to test ride right now as were in a snow blanket (-ski time-) but would like a torsional stiff but easier on the vertical ride. I hear the company was acquired by someone else... good or bad?

Those are cool as hell, but only as expensive paperweights.
(Fun Fact - the guy that started GT bicycles drives a Nostalgia Funny Car!)
I wonder if Shimano is going to start making 4 link rear suspension for drag racing!

With all the crap on the net...you'd think I could find a parts list and an exploded view....for my Campy CdA's....

Post with no link to their website???? Come on man!!!! Inquiring minds need to know!

intakexhaust 02-08-2013 07:46 AM

^^^ Would link if I could. As I mentioned earlier, the Coker Tire company who traditionally supplies tires for vintage / collector cars also offer funky beach cruisers with the 36 inch rubber. Probably a natural thinking as many of the early cars used 36 inch wheels. Anyhow while doing an image search for bikes with this tire, those pics came up but without site links.

Looks like that guy was going 25 mph when he hit that.

Or maybe it was "Turn down the music, did you just hear something?"

20 minutes on the polishing wheel with white rouge. Left is next.

There's a clear anno on campy's parts you're removing the anno and will need to maintain it

Joe Bob 02-08-2013 05:53 PM

Yup, and like Fuchs alloy ano, when scratched up, it looks like ass.

Capt. Richard's "Bombs Away" will keep it nice and bright.

Joe Bob 02-09-2013 08:44 AM

Hey anyone got an extra early Campy front skewer?
