Nope, proud of myself, 7 bikes is "almost" enough.

Just buy a nice classic frame, '70's Italian maybe, and cut off the hanger and all the cable stops. That's how the cool kids do it :-(

Picked up my wife's new used recumbent yesterday. '97 Rans V-Rex. Good condition, upgraded drivetrain.

I have had a hard time riding it. Took several minutes before I could push off and pedal away. I'm wobbly, on busy roads I have to take the entire lane since I'm all over the place. Turns are unpredictable, I don't know how to control radius.

That is, I think, a comment about me rather than about the bike. My wife got on and was immediately doing U-turns in our narrow residential street and riding straight as a rail. Grrr.

Even if I can't ride this thing, I may have fun tinkering with it. Pulled the wheels off, trued and tensioned them, which is SOP when I get a new bike. Really intrigued by the whole fairing idea, would like to get that sorted for her before STP in July. Thinking about fitting some Magura hydraulic rim brakes, just because. It isn't a traditional bike so I'm unfettered by my usual notions of aesthetics and period-correctness.

I just met Jeremy and your Dad, your other brother was not in the booth. Had a great chat with your Dad about Carrera's and Mini Coopers.

I loved the bikes, but really didn't ask much as I'm sure they tire of all the questions, but the coin tops were really trick. Really busy show, I think they had a ton of traffic.

A little 1885-87 action for you, or sometime around those years. My Grandfather posing on a bike.

You know, I'm not sure how tall he was. He passed when my father was 18 back in the early 40's. I'll have to ask pop. I'm thinking he was about 12-14 years old in this shot.

Yea, they take a bit of getting use to, plus after a good ride, you feel it in places on your legs you haven't felt before, even if you have lots of miles in a regular saddle..

That's impressive! Well done to your son.
