After one day of test drives, the Buick Enclave is at the top of the list. I was not able to test a Mazda CX-9 or Lincoln MKT, but I think those will be smaller than we want. That was what knocked the MDX out of the running, which was surprising as it's is bigger than the 04 Highlander we have. Configuration matters more than I thought.
I'd like test to the Highlander again. Not sure why, but my wife and I were underwhelmed. Maybe because we went in thinking that is the one we would like best. Mr. Vega, the ballpark trade in was $6-7k range - just based on the specs, they did not look at it. Since its front-wheel drive and is dinged up a bit, I'd guess the offer would be on the low side. PM me if you want more details. Won't be doing anything for at least two weeks. Eric, I might contact you. I admit to feeling bad if a salesman is really helpful and then going elsewhere for the purchase. I need to figure out the different packages and price points.
