Clicking on a link that has a loud video when you open the page.

I just want to read the article.

You go to a concert where you sit in theater seats and the band is playing. Some dipzhit three rows in front of you brings out his cellphone and spends 5 minutes checking his email.

Those who post pics upside down or sideways!
There is an edit button to fix it....keep trying, you'll get it!

On Match.com...women who post photos of themselves wearing sunglasses. What are/were they thinking?
And posting photos of apparently places they've been...like a castle in Scotland, a lake somewhere. mountains, etc.
Just a photo of a castle, a lake, and mountains, nothing else.
Who bloody cares?
And photos of themselves w/others and no caption...so who are those people?
LOL.

It's a guessing game!!
I agree..especially when they know who the people in the pic are.

Recently added to my pet peeve list: People who'll stop traffic by stepping into a marked crosswalk, then proceed across the street at a glacial pace. Sometimes it'll be some dimwit who can't take their eyes off their phone long enough to realize that they're holding up a dozen other people while they read that oh-so-important text about what their friends are having for lunch. Other times it's some holier-than-thou pedestrian with that smug look of someone who's suddenly been given total control over all the traffic and is now basking in their few seconds of self-importance. I'm more than happy to give people with mobility issues all the time they need to cross a street, but most of these people I'm waiting on seem to be perfectly healthy and capable of moving a little faster if need be.

URY914 02-28-2017 05:56 AM

1. People who push the button at a crosswalk and then run across the street when the "Walk" sign comes on. Pushing the button makes the red light longer so they don't have to run. So the drivers get to sit there for an extra 2-3 minutes while no one walks across the intersection.

2. People who refer to that the thing that separates states from each other as a "border". "The border between Fl and GA". State lines separates states, borders separates countries.

3. People who complain about other people. ;)

People that refer to those big heavy blocks that you build stuff with as "cinder blocks". Not much cinder in the block being made these days. Call them concrete blocks in the US.

I would have no idea what the composition of one of those blocks is. "Cinder Block" is a common term that everyone understands.
Quote:

A concrete masonry unit (CMU) is a standard size rectangular block used in building construction.

Those that use cinders (fly ash or bottom ash) are called cinder blocks in Canada, the United States, and New Zealand, breeze blocks (breeze is a synonym of ash)[1] in the United Kingdom and New Zealand, and hollow blocks in the Philippines. In Australia they are also known as Besser blocks or besser bricks, because the American-based Besser Company was a major supplier of concrete-block-making machinery. Clinker blocks use clinker as aggregate. In non-technical usage, the terms cinder block and breeze block are often generalized to cover all of these varieties.

Why can't people stand in line while waiting to be served at a store?

Like a bunch of cattle!

epbrown 04-24-2017 12:50 AM

One of mine popped up today: a Craigslist ad for an item with no price listed that ends "Don't try to lowball me, I know what it's worth!" Then why not ask what it's worth? This ad is going to waste everyone's time, his and potential buyers. And here's a tip: people that claim to know what their item is worth never know what they typically go for. They know what a pristine example went for once, and decided their ratty one is just as good.

Weather people who spend 10 times as long with their forecast than necessary.

They should just say: "Weather today will be just like yesterday with the exception of 10% less chance of showers."

The end.

Instead it's yada yada yada yada yada...........sheesh.......overload!

This! Even worse, over here they first spend five minutes on what today's weather was.

It's time to get your horn fixed. Who knows, maybe others at the light will join you and this person will get the message.

Don't lay on the horn solid; play an oddly spaced staccato. It will be much more distracting and make it more difficult for them to read and/or type.

Don't make eye contact. Well, maybe make eye contact with the driver in the next lane and smile and get them to join you.

Fan speed settings.

On some 1 is low......and 3 is high. Others are the complete opposite.

Get your act together fan people!
