They are oblivious to anything like that here...they just move over to the side and leave their cart in the aisle. Plus the ones pushing their carts down the wrong side of a two-way aisle. Are they from England??? |

This may have been said before. On two lane roads, drivers who are going the speed limit and then saunter through a yellow light (or we just miss the light), me having to stop at the light. I want to stick a megaphone in their face and suggest they drive faster.

People who say "Nucular" or "relator"
People with Dual motor tesla or plaid doing 10 under the limit. People walking dogs in the middle of the street and giving cars a stinkeye when they dare use the same road ! People.. yeah people.. |
I thought this day had passed years ago when the Indian guy was on TV commercial with a tear going down his face looking at liter/pollution. But I was wrong.
A few weeks ago I was heading out on a Friday night to get dinner. Sitting at a red light, car in front of me opens up drivers door and puts out a bag of trash right on the road. I honked, flashed lights, and gesticulated. No response. Then they just drove off. |

Between the demands of the garden and the pool I mix a lot of chemicals. I wish they would use consistent measures.
If you are going to list the mixing ratios in oz, don't put your product in a clear plastic bottle that has ml markings on the side, and say "add 2 oz per gallon." For dry measure - use volume, not weight. I don't keep a set of food scales in the barn. And for God's sake print the mixing instructions big enough to be read with the naked eye. Can't we just move to the metric system and get it over with? |
Dumbazz drivers who stay in the left lane lollygagging along slower than the speed limit and hold up traffic flow!

Air blower hand dryers and the current “paper” towels at work. It is thin, gets soaked quickly while seeming to repel water, and is not recycleable.

Car that pull up to gas pumps, sit inside yapping on their phone or texting with other waiting on them. When they are finally done, they come out and walk into the attendant and inside, cash.
The other is after gas is pumped, they sit in their car and who know WTF they do in there while others are waiting on them. Fook me man. Sick of these untitled folks. |
I'm mildly annoyed with the following currently ubiquitous overdone misuses of the language:
Chuck goes out each and every Friday night. (Every is enough.) Jack goes to the exact same restaurant every day. (Why do you need "exact"? You don't... same is same and you can't convince me it's for emphasis. Same is same.) Where is Bob at? (It seems like "at" is the most incorrectly and overused preposition these days... just say "Where is Bob?" and you're good.) They gave the tires to George and I. Say it without the "George" and you'll see why it's wrong. George and me is what you want... or even me and George. This one isn't incorrect, it's just stupid: "It is what it is." It's for people who don't have anything important or meaningful to say, they just like to talk. Or maybe they decided they were tired of "that's the way the ball bounces" or "that's life" or "what goes around, comes around." |
Where’s Bob at? My father would always reply “behind that at”!
Current peeve: I vacuum about every 3 years whether it needs it or not but those stupid plastic vacuum hoses that kink just by looking at them wrong are annoying. Can’t they make a decent one? |
