Video, or it didn't happen.
It would be extremely hard for a stock Mule to do that since it is governed around 3600rpm. My Briggs Vanguard is good for about 7000rpm.

Hard to get a video from 1,000 miles away, but I have done that and when I get home I will oblige...
And btw, you can degovern a mule for about $50 last I checked, and since that cart is not stock, it would only be fair...

I could make a mule perform very well, but this is about cost-per-performance. The golf cart wins hands down.

Not in the heavy haul or real work category...
But I know when I've met someone who is rationalizing their own decision so I'm going to walk away now. |

I don't need to rationalize my decision. I did my homework before buying/building.
It sounds like you are being pretty protective of your decision to spend more money on a vehicle that is only marginally superior on paper. In the real world, I can run smaller trails that a mule can't, I can load my cart into the bed of my pickup, and I don't have to register it with DMV, because it isn't possible. Around here, if you get caught with an ATV/UTV on the road, you get a ticket. Not so with golf carts. They only ask for a liability insurance card, and let you go.

More evidence that a golf cart is more than capable. I went out a few weeks ago with a few friends. Mine was the only one that didn't get stuck. Even the JD Gator had to be pulled out.

It's an old story told many different ways. The best tool is the right one for the job at hand. No need to drag around a 5lb sledge if a claw hammer will do.

I was going to suggest GIXXER-CART! But this seems to be a bit more "utility" friendly

Our used $1,800 6 volt cart tows a couple hundred pound can of greens up the steep driveway to the street.
It does the work of one donkey every trash day. ![]() The winch on the back is great for pulling race cars from trailer to garage by myself and avoids a sprianed back from pushing cars. Very little Suspension so it is best on grass or asphalt, not fun off road. ![]() ![]()

If you've got a tractor you don't need a Mule, IMHO. Last month I made a pickup bed for Mrs WD's 48 volt Club Car golf/garden cart and she drives it all over the place. The cart cost us $2000 with a newish trailer. I made the bed out of some leftover plywood and the angle iron from an old bed frame. This this is super handy and I've got all of $2050 in it. We've got a 23 hp Kubota tractor and between them we can take care of 10 acres easy.
