Front wings are adjustable. Those seem to be hinges. Driver actuated by lever in cockpit.

New McLaren out, nice nose. Good looking car, but I think we've seen it before.

Ferrari unveiled today and has no slope to the nose at all. Seems anything goes
when it comes to the front of the car. I thought there would be a strict format to follow on body height etc., This is great to see new and different cars, instead of all copies of each other. McLaren is the best looking so far IMO. I would post links to view these cars but don't know how to do that, sorry |

The new McLaren is one of the best looking cars in recent years.
The New Ferrari looks like it has the walrus tusk nose treatment (aka Williams) from the pictures from the front that I've seen. Can someone explain what a vanity panel is? A few of the teams are using them this year to hide the stepped nose. |

Vanity panel as far as I can see is just a cover for the ugly notch in the step nose. Although I see most cars are going with no step nose.
Force India is a good looking car IMO. The cars are getting so "trick" it's difficult to fully appreciate them without being an engineer or an Adrian Newey. Looking forward to seeing Hamilton's new weapon. |

Whats under those wraps doing what to what?! Thats whats cool.
In the 1960's Colin Chapman pushed the rules to hilarious ridiculous scary levels. Somewhere it was revealed that at one major venue, his car failed an inspection for lacking an aluminum or other material firewall. So back to the pits he quickly created a paper firewall and coated it with aluminum paint!
