Was back there today, the hurricane Sandy cars are just flooding in...haha. How about this 6k mile junker:

Or a 2013 Nissan GT-R?

These cars did not get very wet and they will be sold with salvage titles and no idea about factory warrantees. The 991 only got submerged in the rear up to the axles and nowhere else. It is extremely obvious where the water was, everything that is not plastic on the bottom of that car is aluminum. The bottom of the engine case and the lower suspension links have just the slightest amount of corrosion on them, with salt water it doesn't take much. The interior floors and front trunk floor are perfect, showroom dry and I started it and all functions are working as new.

The GT-R looks perfect as well as a 2012 SL MB next to it. Crazy.

Then I saw this on the way out, not sure if it was getting dropped off or just happened to be on the truck going somewhere else(?)

My kid is looking for a used car on Craigslist in SoCal and probably 4 out of 5 sub $7,000 cars are salvage title. They are everywhere.

This was at Copart, (they have many locations), and they are all insurance company total loss vehicles. If you are looking for a car with a clean title, look elsewhere.

Maybe not a kids car but, nice find nevertheless.

1978 mercedes 450 sl

Maybe this is something more his style?

2001 acura tl. clean title

I've been looking for a similar around town beater that I can rack up miles in with ice cold a/c and not be worried about door dings....

Good luck hunting!
