I see me in that.

BTW, Hugh, have a great trip with the TW. You folks are always welcome here!
Thanks, buddy. It is pretty cool and I’m getting kind of full up on *stuff* around here but I guess that’s a first world problem.

Hugh, you’re welcome here as well while I’m here but I don’t have room for another RV in the driveway! I’ve got the AS RV and trailer here.

I’ll update the other thread now since I’m working on it.

" cooler than the dark side of the moon". Too right Paul!

Those 280 and 310 turbo diesels are a sweet spot of the airstream line. Long lived and fuel efficient engine, comfortable to drive, especially with new windshields in place.
Not as spacious inside as my 345, but nice interiors and easy to find parking space for.
And one less axel to drag around.

They are highly thought of in the airstream clan.

It's going to be interesting to see how Denis makes out with it. I see some fun trips in his future.

Cheers Richard

So the invisibrake the system to stop the towed Jeep started beeping, the book says pull over ASAP

Couldn’t find anything wrong but we disconnected it and the wife followed in it 150 miles to Beaver, UT

Will investigate in the AM when it’s 65, not 105 outside

Flaming Gorge, Wyoming

I have no idea what that yellow thing is being hauled on the road, not freeway, but it was HUGE, it had three pickups in front with flashing lights that I think had some sign that said “you need to pull over” to on coming traffic, because they did.

Reconnected the invisibrake to the Jeep and no issues.

Much to my regret sometimes, I sold the Aston Martin DB4 and the 84 Targa, but at excellent $ for each. It was for the best, I’m 66 and really don’t want to work on vehicles anymore. This is my new baby with a 7 years bumper-to-bumper warranty with a $100 deductible.

My wife thinks I’m excessive for wiping the bugs and schmutz off the front each night after a few hundred miles of driving...

And traveling with my wife, of 36 years ,Donna, is the absolute best
The dog whines too much and wants me to take him out at 6 am.

Not excessive at all Hugh. I wash at least the Windows each day while under way.
It's tough to do much more in drought country.
Sure is nice looking out of clean windows.

Enjoying your trip pics Hugh, thanks!

Cheers Richard

Well done! I think it is pretty rare to have a relationship like yours where you are both still enjoying being together!

I had a class C for several years I basically only used to haul my vintage race car around and camp at the track. I met my wife in 2014 and she was a long time tent camper. We started using the old Lazy Daze for camping at state parks with her (now my) friends. We're now on our second travel trailer. Complete with bunks in the back for the grand kids. She's a convert now. We are off to camp with my daughter, brother and their spouses in a few days. 750 mile round trip. Time to start packing!

I like my Winnebago 33’ It’s OK to park, this Winnebago is huge, He is from San Diego and he says he can’t stay at any state parks.

BTW, we are in The Black Hills of South Dakota.

More to come.

Mammoth Museum in Hot Springs, SD

An in-situ dig inside a museum built over the fossil find.

We've had dinner together, I didn't know you were a 16-year-old girl Hugh? Certainly don't look like one.
