Very tasteful interior... so many motorhomes seem pretty blingy on the inside these days.

Some of the big ones have real marble, real floor tile. You must be hauling around a few thousand lbs in bling weight.

We had some friends visit last weekend. They came down in their 36' RV. He bought it a couple of years ago when they found a dealer the bank had ordered to reduce their inventory because the bank wanted some of their money out of it. They got a really good deal. I thought it was a diesel, but he told me it was a 10 cyl. Chevy gas (industrial engine ?) and got around 9 mpg. They have a ball with it driving all over & staying wherever they want, when they can find a place that will take something that big. They've taken it to Alaska and own a house in B.C. they go to during the summers. Hope you get a lot of enjoyment out of it.

The V10s are Ford. Very common RV chassis.

Eric, that's what I was thinking at the time but didn't want to cross examine him about it. Are they the usual 6.xL Fords? Seems a bit small if it is, since he told me it was a 12 ton chassis for a 36 ft. But he could have been off on that one too. He's a retired attorney & not too mechanically savy.

Now in 993 land ...

Geez - did someone get a promotion recently?
![]() But seriously, that's so nice, you can stay in it as a residence. You can skip having a summer house in the Northern US and just hook up anywhere! You really should think about it. I wish I was ready to hit the road. G |

Nice score. As you are using it for business for the next 5 years I guess you can write off a portion of the cost and expenses over that time. That's what I did with my class A. Hauling the boat with my pickup and a 8' slide in camper I was getting 12-13 mpg. I dropped to 9-10 mpg with the MH but ended up with 20' more useable space.

That'd look great with an Aston Martin hooked up to the back!

Excellent
I would not want to be on the wrong side of the table from Mrs R on a deal. I bet you could get people to pay to see her argue with my old man though, I know I would. That thing is just the perfect size. The bigger ones just can't go a lot of places. What do you plan to tow as the escape pod? Either the Camry or the 911 on a dolly would be very serviceable I would imagine.
