I was in HS or early college and went up with a friend who's now a military pilot, it was unbelievably cool. I was a little glad when we landed, though. Still a little surprised my parents were cool with that. But man that was amazing.

A flathead V8 ? I wonder how the power to weight is?!
The original Pietenpol design called for a 40hp Ford model A engine.
