Two bombs go off at the Boston Marathon

Hope all the people injured receive the best possible care.

I know a few people that made the journey to Boston for the marathon. My wife has let me know that she has heard from all of them since the explosions.
If you know anyone running, there are some sites set up to check on their status.

Can't believe that someone would choose an event like this one to sabotage.

i've seen enough of these things now to understand that half of the information out on the first day is bull****. the media really embarrasses itself in situations like this.

+1...I'm ashamed of my degree in Journalism. When I went to school the stuff that passes for reporting now would get you bounced from class.

The first two blasts were close together and went off near the same time, the third was farther away and went off later.
Any bets that third boom was an oops and our friend who may or may not be muslim took himself out by accident?

Most of what I've heard has been leg and foot injuries. Do these things typically go off low to the ground? I would have thought the debris would be higher off the ground.

Prayers go out to the innocent people who are hurt and have lost loved ones.

Another example of heroes. While many are running away(not to blame them) many are running right at it to help. Ya just can't say enough about people like that.

well my guess is is that the cement deflected the blast think of a T but upside down. Might have been something set on the ground. Think O for the perfect shape but since it's on the ground the lower part of the O should have more force to travel out since the energy wont blow down due to the concrete.

I've said it once...I've said it a million times. Saudi Arabia is THE breeding ground for radical Islam like no other country. But hey...they have lots of oil, so let's bury our heads in the sand and keep them as an "ally". It's high time something is done about this nation that breeds terrorists and anti-US sentiment like no other.
