Want to borrow- Handicap park spot stencil
Any one have one here in Los Angeles area, (preferably the valley) ?
looking to borrow it for a couple days so i can get cleared with building and safety? Sure, you think you can order one from Home Depot or Lowes, when u search on line, but they no longer carry the inexpensive kit; just the $85 version (which has to be ordered) Appreciate the help Dave tremotorsports@gmail.com

If you just need a stencil you could probably make one.
You need to find an old style overhead projector. I have an old one that I use for Ice carving stencils. make a copy of the handicap stencil using stencil paper or a gel sheet and then project it onto easel paper or cardboard taped to the wall. trace it and then cut it out. It would cost pennies if you can find someone with a projector. There aren't to many people using them anymore. just a thought.

the guys who do parking lot re-striping can do it faster, cheaper, and better than if you went out and bought a bunch of paint and did it yourself. Trust me.

Dave, if it were me I would have the owner of the lot take care of it, unless you own/lease the lot then........I remember an issue with the lot at the newest super Wally World that was put in down here near where I live and the lot did not have enough handicap spaces and the ones they had were painted wrong so the whole lot had to be re-striped!

The pros already have quick-drying traffic paint in their sprayers. They will squirt a blue square, and within a few minutes, slap the stencil over the square and spray the white. Done within another 30 seconds. |
