Really sorry G man, hope you and the family are getting through these tough first days. The loss will hopefully get a bit easier as time goes by, but remember that her soul still burns brightly and she will always be with you in mind and spirit.

Hold each other close and you will all make it through this as a family.

Count your blessings and remember the happy times.

Everyone, don't assume family days together will last forever, savor them while you have them.

I've lost dad and mom in two different ways, and trust me your's went out the best way, as heck, we all do check out at one time or another...........

My Dad was only 52 and me 22 when I found him dead in bed of a heart attack overnight sleep. But that's the way I want to go, just turn out the light bulb.

MUCH rather than my present situation of watching my Mom slowing die of brain cancer and losing her memory for the last 9 months after brain surgery removal of a tumor.

Life = Memories, it's what makes "us" Us, and who we are as individuals. Savor and cherish / forge those memories.

My condolences to you and your family. Rusty Heap's (Dave) advice is on the money.....focus on the great times you had with your mom.

so sorry ..

gonna give mine a hug tonight..
we have a standing dinner date..
she will make a fuss over me..
have cooked way to much...
and then give me a package of socks or T-shirts..

so..take the time,make the time,
comes a time..when all your left with is time..

Sorry for your loss.

If your family is like mine, mom was the "hub" of the family wheel. After the mourning it will take effort to keep the family together. Make the effort.

So sorry to hear. I lost my Dad first, and I thought my world ended when I lost my Mom. Hang in there, prayers and faith will help, plus knowing that they "brought you up right" will help you stay strong.
