Our lives will never be the same...

without you, Mom...

My mom died yesterday morning.
She set the table but never finished her breakfast.
We knew she had a weak heart but this was too sudden.
Our family revolved around her, she was the driving force, the glue that binds us together.

You will be missed, Mom.
We will always love you.
You were an angel in disguise.

Just out of nowhere? My God.

Stay strong, and prayers to your family.

Thanks guys

She was 64, left much too soon.
Grandma lost a beloved daughter.
My dad lost his soulmate.
Her children lost the best mom in the world.

Geronimo,

Just reading your post brought back some of the pain of losing our own Mother (1909-2000).

I know it doesn't help the pain much now, but sometimes Angels have other very important jobs.

She will be there every time you think of her.

Stay close to your family. You'll need each other more than ever, now.

Best
Les

64 is too young. My sincere condolences to you and your family.

wdfifteen 05-05-2013 04:23 AM

64? Way too soon. So sorry to hear of this. Be well.

onewhippedpuppy 05-05-2013 04:25 AM

Sorry is so insufficient at times like this. My grandfather held a similar role is our family, and was my mentor and role model. He died suddenly almost two years ago, sometimes I still can't believe it. The hurt will fade, that much I know. They are in a better place where ailing hearts are of little concern, not that it makes those left behind feel any better.

So sorry for your loss. As others have said as we lose extended Pelican family members> time will heal the pain.

Stay close with your family.

Sorry for your loss, sir, and sympathies to the family.

recycled sixtie 05-05-2013 06:08 AM

You have my sympathy. At that age you think how is this possible? I had similar thoughts when my father died age 52 and I was 21. My mother died last year age 94 and I still think about her.....
